Note from John Rice
She is the author of the 2 notes written to Georgiana and William when she was expecting her 4th child. I never thought that I would get to see what she looked like. I heard somewhere (Joan?) that she was a Professor of music and we have her duet piano stool! She died in 1903.

Cheryl Burnham suggests that Lydia's sirname may be HALE. This would explain how some of Georgiana children have that name
