She was on the 2nd Transport from Nitra on the 4th April 1942 and transported to an unknown destination.

I am not clear where I got the information that she was transported to Rejowiec.

Before the German invasion of the town in 1939, the Jewish population was between 2,500 and 3,500 Jews. Rejowiec became a transit ghetto where Jews from Europe were sent. More than 5,000 Jews from Slovakia were sent to the ghetto, as well as Jews from Germany, Hungary, Czechoslovakia and other parts of Poland. In April and October of 1942, there were transports to Sobibor gas chambers. In May 1942, there was a transport to Belzec. Additionally, small groups of Jews were transported to local labor camps such as Krychow, Sawin, Sajczyce and Chelm. In the spring of 1943, a group of 200 to 400 remaining Jews in the city were sent to Majdanek gas chambers. The Jewish community ceased to exist [Wiki]

Employment

Otto Hochhauser founded the Otto Hochhauser Feinleder Manufaktur in 1888 which eventually became the largest fine leather export firm in Europe. He owned a large building near the Donau Canal. He raised his family there and rented out the rest of the apartments. The company rooms occupied the entire street floor. There was always a lovely smell of leather in the work rooms in which they sorted the hides. When we went to Paris, Monsieur Hermes would greet my mother personally - their handbags were made from company leather. The firm was Aryanized in 1938 and the Nazi in charge gradually bankrupted it. My father and his brother, Walter, built it up again in New York City. They eventually parted company and my father had his own business until he retired.
